Thirty two magazine
I was a part of a small editorial team working on a start-up magazine about creativity and innovation in the Midwest. I started out as a publishing assistant with Thirty Two, connecting with bookstores to expand our stocklist, implementing social media campaigns, assisting in event planning, line editing and writing shorter, end-of-book articles. Six months later, I moved up to an Associate Editor position, which included article concepts and pitches, writing longer features, helping other writers shape their pieces, copyediting the whole book and helping shape the visual and written tone of the magazine as it expanded.
